The Commemorative Banknote on the Auspicious Occasion of Her Majestly the Queen's 6th Birthday Anniversary 12th August 2004. This banknote is 72 mm x 162 mm in size, with the number 72 meaning 72nd birthday of Her Majesty and the sum of "7+2" or "1+6+2" is 9, signifying the ninth king of the Chakri Dynasty.
The main elements on the front of the banknote are the portraits of HM the King in uniform of the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Chakri Dynasty Royal Robe, waring the Most Illustrious Order of the Royal House of Chakri and the Chain of Knight Grand Cordon (Special Class) of the Most Illustriou Order of Chula Chom Klao, and the portrait of HM the Queen in Thai Sivalai with tiara, wearing the Most Illustrious Order of the Royal House of Chakri, Pendent of Dame Grand Cross (First Class) of the Most Illustrious Order of Chula Chom Klao, and King Bhumibol Adulyadej's Royal Cypher Medal (Rama IX) (First Class). Accompanying drawings are the King's monogram in Thai letters "Phor Por Ror" and the Royal Garuda Emblem. The background color is golden brown. The Thai denomination "100", printed with optically variable intaglio ink (OVI), changes from gold into green when viewed at an angle.
All the banknotes will carry the Thai alphbetical code prefixed with Thai number "9" to give significance to His Majesty as King Rama IX, followed by Thai serieal number 0000001 to 7299999.
The main element on the back of the banknot is the portrait of HM the Queen wearing tiara and Thai Chakri outfit decorated with the Ancient and Auspicious Order of the Nice Germs, and King Bhumibol Adulyadej's Royal Cypher Medal (Rama IX) (First Class). Accompanying drawings are the pictures of the investiture ceremony of HM the Queen, the portrait of Her Majesty holding the eldest daughter Princess Ubol Ratana, the pircture of SUPPORY products, the picture of elephants and forest, the Royal Crest Commemorating the Celebrations on the Auspicious Occasion of Her Majesty the Queen's 6th Cycle Birthday Anniversary 12th August 2004. Thai art design, and the Rose "Queen Sirikit", Cattleya "Queen Sirikit" and Dona "Queen Sirikit". The background color is blue, which signifies HM the Queen's birthday color.
