SEVENTEEN (stylized in all caps or as SVT) is a South Korean boy band made up of thirteen members. They were created by Pledis Entertainment in 2015. The members include S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, The8, Mingyu, DK, Seungkwan, Vernon and Dino. One of the Most distinctive features of SEVENTEEN is how they’re split into 3 teams: Vocal unit (Woozi, Jeonghan, Joshua, DK and Seungkwan), Hip-hop unit (S.Coups, Wonwoo, Mingyu and Vernon) and lastly, Performance unit (Hoshi, Jun, The8 and Dino).

With their self-composed and self-produced music, SEVENTEEN has made waves since their debut in 2015. Having topped charts worldwide, including the Billboard Artist 100. SEVENTEEN has recently made history as the headlining act at this year’s Glastonbury Festival, making them the first K-pop group to grace the legendary Pyramid State.

SEVENTEEN is about to hit a huge milestone – 10th Anniversary of its debut in 2025. They have received Album of the year for its EP “Spill the Feels” at the Golden Disc Awards. The boy band on January 5, clinched the honor for the second year in a row at the awards ceremony held at Mizuho PayPay Dome in Fukuoka, Japan.

SEVENTEEN breaks the record for highest number of #1 Hits by a foreign artist on Oricon charts. Over the past decade, hallyu (the Korean wave) has swept over the world, and SEVENTEEN is one of the Korean banks to have gained a sizeable following in Japan. Their albums have consistently performed well commercially as well as received critical acclaim. To celebrate SEVENTEEN’s debut 10th Anniversary, KOMSCO (Korea Minting and Security Printing Corporation) is issuing and minting The First commemorative medals of SEVENTEEN in 2024, following BTS’s debut 10th anniversary commemorative medals in 2022 and 2023.

The obverse features the shape of a record (album) with SEVENTEEN’s official logo at eh center, while the background displays micro-lettering with the names of SEVENTEEN's members among the stars.

To commemorate the journey of the past 10 years, the background of the reverse features micro-lettering using the titles of SEVENTEEN’s songs, while depicting SEVENTEEN’s official logo shining gloriously within the annals of the past 10 years.

The inverted triangle-shaped logo symbolizes the number 17, which is the sum of 13 member, 3 units, and 1 group.

The 1st Series will be delivered in April 2025. The 2nd Series which will be followed in coming year.
