The Macau Lunar Dragon coins are the 5th issue of the 2020-2031 Macau Lunar Coin Series which demonstrate the characteristics of Macau's World Heritage Sites and showcases the unique blend of Macau’s Chinese and Portuguese culture through the tasteful design elements and innovative craftsmanship.
The obverse design of the coin features the majestic dragon, portrayed with vibrant display of teal coloured Portuguese-inspired patterned tiles.
The reverse design of the coin features the Church of St. Joseph’s Seminary, located within the Historic Centre of Macau, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Presented from a bottom-up perspective, the presentation immerses collectors, guiding their view along the broad flight of stairs up the magnificent church.
