The People’s Bank of China is to issue 2024 Chinese Jia Chen Year (Year of the Dragon) Precious Metal Commemorative Coins on 17 November, 2023. The coin is legal tender of the People’s Republic of China.
Obverse design: Each coin in the set bears the common obverse design features the national emblem of the PRC, Chinese traditional auspicious patterns, the title of PRC and the year date.
Reverse design: The 30 gram flower shaped silver coin depicts a decorative design of a dragon, with the fret pattern in the background.
