The lowest mintage ever on this denomination from Monnaie de Paris, with only 50 pieces! The obverse is featuring Mona Lisa - the most famous art masterpiece of Leonardo da Vince. The portrait of Mona Lisa is in the middle of the coin, while in the background there is the portrait's frame with the French name of the piece, “La Joconde” along with the name of the artist. The statement of 500th Anniversary of da Vinci’s passing is also displayed on the coin, along with the year 2019, and the stamp “Chefs d’oevre des Musees” on the right side.
The reverse is featuring several major French museum landmarks. Musee d’Orsay is represented by its distinctive clock. The facade of the Louvre is shown with the Pyramid, an internationally recognized symbol. Also shown is Hotel Biron, the current Rodin Museum, and Hotel Sale, where the Picasso Museum is located. The famous Centre Pompidou stairway is on the lower left portion of the coin. The face value and words “Republique Francaise are also inscribed.
